Before joining CEPII, Christophe was posted overseas, first as the head of the Economic Department of the French Embassy to Malaysia (2003-2006), then as Financial Counselor of the French Embassy in Washington DC (2006-2010). His main areas of interest are the international financial and monetary relations, sovereign debt management, the US and the Chinese economies and the Eurozone.
