The Trade and Production Database streamlined

The Trade and Production Database (TradeProd) provides data on international and domestic trade flows and trade protection. The database currently covers 162 countries and 9 industrial sectors over the period 1966-2018. TradeProd is being updated annually and is intended for econometric estimation of the gravity equation and also includes a yearly balanced dataset necessary for counterfactual exercises using new quantitative trade models. EQCHANGE database updated

EQCHANGE is a global database on effective exchange rates. It includes two sub-databases. The first sub-database delivers effective exchange rates for 187 countries that are computed under three different weighting schemes and two panels of trading partners (186 and top 30) over the 1973-2020 period. The second sub-database provides equilibrium exchange rate estimates (approaches: Multilateral PPP & BEER) and corresponding currency misalignments for 182 economies over the 1974-2020 period. The Junior Workshop on the Economics of Migration aims to provide an opportunity to junior researchers on migration economics to present and meet in-person. This workshop follows the spirit of the online webinar series on the economics of migration, an initiative that was launched in April 2020 to provide a platform for economists working on migration to present their work virtually. This workshop is supported by the European partners involved in the organisation of the virtual seminar series: CEPII, CERDI, ICM, LISER, PSE, Universidad Carlos III and University of Luxembourg. The conference will take place on 15 and 16 June 2023 in Paris. Please submit your papers before 15 February 2023.
