The Trade and Production Database streamlined
The Trade and Production Database (TradeProd) provides data on international and domestic trade flows and trade protection. The database currently covers 162 countries and 9 industrial sectors over the period 1966-2018. TradeProd is being updated annually and is intended for econometric estimation of the gravity equation and also includes a yearly balanced dataset necessary for counterfactual exercises using new quantitative trade models. | EQCHANGE database updated
EQCHANGE is a global database on effective exchange rates. It includes two sub-databases. The first sub-database delivers effective exchange rates for 187 countries that are computed under three different weighting schemes and two panels of trading partners (186 and top 30) over the 1973-2020 period. The second sub-database provides equilibrium exchange rate estimates (approaches: Multilateral PPP & BEER) and corresponding currency misalignments for 182 economies over the 1974-2020 period. The Junior Workshop
on the Economics of Migration, June 2023
The Junior Workshop on the Economics of Migration aims to provide an opportunity to junior researchers on migration economics to present and meet in-person. This workshop follows the spirit of the online webinar series on the economics of migration, an initiative that was launched in April 2020 to provide a platform for economists working on migration to present their work virtually. This workshop is supported by the European partners involved in the organisation of the virtual seminar series: CEPII, CERDI, ICM, LISER, PSE, Universidad Carlos III and University of Luxembourg. The conference will take place on 15 and 16 June 2023 in Paris. Please submit your papers before 15 February 2023.

May 2023 issue in progress
International Economics is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to the publication of research in the area of applied international economics. The journal especially welcomes empirical contributions that include, but are not limited to, topics in international trade, commercial policy, open economy macroeconomics, international finance, exchange rates, financial and monetary policies, economic development, migration and factor movements.
The May 2023 issue is in progress but contains articles that are final and fully citable.
