23rd Doctoral Meetings in Global issues related to Trade, Macroeconomics, Migration, Taxation/ Environmental economics/ Urban Economics

The RIEF network organizes a yearly doctoral meeting which offers the opportunity for 18 PhD students to present their research. Each selected paper will be discussed by an active senior researcher in the field.
The conference will take place in person. We are delighted to have Meredith Crowley and Thomas Sampson as keynote speakers.
PhD candidates on the job market and younger PhDs should submit their papers in pdf (English only) to: rief.network@gmail.com by January 5th, 2024. Papers are refereed and selected by RIEF board members (complete list can be found here : https://sites.google.com/site/riefnetwork). Decisions will be notified mid-February 2024 at the latest. A prize of 500 euros will be awarded to the best paper presented. To be eligible, authors and co-authors should be PhD students at the time of papers’ submission.
Thanks to our sponsors, there will be no submission and participation fees. Participants will have to cover hotel and travel expenses themselves. CONFERENCE PROGRAMME
