Sectoral classifications: by industry

In the CEPII Country Profiles, for trade in goods, the grouping of products in 11 industries (with an additional grouping for the not elsewhere specified trade) comes from CHELEM - International Trade database. An "industry" including all services from the Balance of Payments database is joined to the other ones in Figure 3.

In Tables 9 and 10, the so-called “industries” contain only manufactured products (BA to GI and KA to KI). Thus there is neither “Energy” nor “NES” nor “Services”, and some industries are different from those in the table above. “Food” contains categories KA to KI, “Chemicals” categories GA to GI and BA to BC, “Iron & steel” categories CA and CB, “Non ferrous” CC category.
