Jérôme Valette is an economist at CEPII and a specialist in migration.
In addition to his responsibilities at CEPII, Jérôme Valette is Director of the Dynamics Department at the Institut Convergences Migrations (ICM). He also teaches migration economics in Master 1 and 2 programs at Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, École des hautes études en sciences sociales and Cairo University.
Graduate of CERDI and Clermont Auvergne University. He is currently on secondment from his position as Maître de Conférences at Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne.

His research focuses on the effects of immigration on migrant-receiving countries. He is particularly interested in the formation of native attitudes towards immigration and their consequences for the integration of immigrants in their host countries.
